FRANKFURT — Veteran Daimler executive Karen Adt will turn conduct of a Smart brand, next Annette Winkler, who will step down on Sept. 30.
Adt, 46, has years of general knowledge in several government positions in sales and tellurian resources that will assistance her drive Smart into a successful future, Daimler’s sales chief, Britta Seeger, pronounced in a statement.
Adt initial worked for Daimler between 1999 and 2013, holding several government positions in sales including shortcoming for Smart’s worldwide sales government and conduct of a Luxembourg sales organization. After a army during a tellurian resources consultancy, she returned to Daimler in 2014 as tellurian resources clamp president.
Winkler, 58, pronounced final month that she will step down after 8 years as conduct of a automaker’s microcar brand.
Global sales of Smart cars fell 8.5 percent to 52,463 by May, Daimler pronounced in a news release progressing this month.
