Magna International has non-stop a new seating bureau that will occupy 300 people and supply BMW in Europe.

The new plant in Chomutov, Czech Republic, will supply seating systems in several configurations for several BMW models. Production is approaching to start before a finish of this year.

Magna, in a matter on Thursday, did not exhibit a financial terms of a agreement with BMW or how most a new bureau cost to build.

The plant, with 20,000 block feet of prolongation space, has a ability to make some-more than 360,000 chair sets annually. The plant has combined 150 new jobs and is approaching to supplement an additional 150 employees via 2019.

“Continuing to win business with a patron like BMW Group is critical to a tellurian growth,” Mike Bisson, boss of Magna Seating pronounced in a statement.

Magna’s seating organisation has 16 production locations in Europe, 5 of them in a Czech Republic, along with 50 production locations and 6 rd centers around a rest of a world.
